![]() ![]() The popular Schellville grounds will again be open and alive with excitement this Friday, October 27, for a special Halloween-themed event. Schellville Spooktacular Kids' Zone (October 27) To learn more about the 2023 Boos & Brews event in Lewes, or to purchase tickets, visit. This is a 21 and older event and all proceeds from the $50 ticket price will be used to further the work of the Lewes Historical Society in promoting the history of the "First Town in the First State." Organizers promise lots of food, drinks, and entertainment, provided by such local favorites as Dogflish Head, Bethany Blues, and the Hot Sauce Band. This Halloween weekend event is scheduled for the Lewes Historical Society complex on Shipcarpenter Street and will take place between 7 and 10 p.m., on Friday, October 27. Parade will be down the Boardwalk and include an approximately 1.5-mile walk. Costumed Dog Parade. Sunday beginning at 1 p.m.Sea Witch 5K Classic Run. Begins at Grove Park at 9 a.m., on Sunday.Tickets can be purchased at the Visitor's Center on Rehoboth Avenue. Hayrides Through Downtown Rehoboth. Saturday and Sunday from 12 until 5 p.m.Tyke Bike Roll on the Boardwalk. Friday from 2:30 to 4 p.m., on Rehoboth Avenue and the Boardwalk.There is a $5 fee and this activity is weather dependent. Pony Rides on the Beach. Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m.Old Fashioned Kids’ Beach Games. Games are held on the beach between Olive and Maryland Avenues, beginning at 2 p.m., on Saturday.The information table is located at the Rehoboth Bandstand.
